Terms of Service

• You must be at least 18 years of age to register on this Platform.
• You must be a citizen or resident of India or a person of Indian origin.
• You must be legally eligible to marry under Indian law at the time of any marriage you pursue through this Platform.
• Individuals who are already married and have not obtained a legal divorce are not permitted to create profiles.
• By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is true, accurate, and complete.

• Each person may maintain only one active account. Creating duplicate accounts will result in suspension.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Do not share your password with anyone.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately at support@96kmatrimony.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that we believe have been compromised or are being misused.

You agree that all information in your profile is accurate and up-to-date. You must not:

• Upload photographs of anyone other than yourself, or photographs that are misleading or inappropriate.
• Misrepresent your age, marital status, caste, religion, education, income, or any other detail.
• Include contact information (phone numbers, email addresses, social media handles) in profile fields not designated for contact sharing.
• Upload content that is obscene, offensive, defamatory, discriminatory, or in violation of any Indian law.

We reserve the right to review, edit, or remove any profile content that violates these terms without prior notice.

• Free membership provides limited access to profiles and features as described on the subscription page.
• Paid plans (Silver, Gold, Platinum) unlock additional features such as full contact details, unlimited messaging, profile boost, and priority support.
• Subscription fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as stated in our Refund Policy.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Prices are inclusive of applicable GST. We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days' notice.
• A subscription to 96K Matrimony is not a guarantee that you will find a partner. We facilitate introductions; the outcome of any relationship is beyond our control.

You agree not to use the Platform to:

• Harass, threaten, intimidate, or abuse other members.
• Solicit money, gifts, or financial assistance from other members.
• Promote commercial services, multi-level marketing, or any business unrelated to matrimony.
• Collect or harvest personal data of other members for any purpose outside of genuine matrimonial interest.
• Impersonate another person or create fake profiles.
• Attempt to access accounts or data that does not belong to you.
• Upload malware, viruses, or any malicious code.
• Circumvent or attempt to bypass any security feature of the Platform.
• Use automated bots, scrapers, or crawlers to access any part of the Platform.

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account termination and, where applicable, reporting to law enforcement authorities.

• The messaging feature is provided to facilitate genuine matrimonial communication.
• We reserve the right to monitor communications to the extent necessary to ensure compliance with these terms and to maintain platform safety.
• Do not share sensitive personal or financial information (bank account details, OTPs, passwords) with other members through the Platform.
• If you receive any communication that makes you uncomfortable or appears fraudulent, please report it using the "Report" button or contact us at support@96kmatrimony.com.

We offer optional identity verification to help members build trust. Submitting verification documents:

• Is voluntary but encouraged to increase your profile's credibility.
• Involves our team reviewing a government-issued ID. Documents are stored securely and never shared with other members.
• A "Verified" badge indicates that we have confirmed the member's identity — it does not constitute an endorsement or guarantee of character, intent, or suitability for marriage.

• All Platform content — including the logo, design, software, text, and graphics — is owned by 96K Matrimony and protected by Indian copyright law.
• You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Platform content without our prior written consent.
• By uploading photographs or other content to your profile, you grant 96K Matrimony a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content on the Platform for the purpose of operating the matrimony service.
• We will not use your photographs in marketing materials without your explicit consent.

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that:

• The Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses.
• Any match found through the Platform will be compatible or result in a successful marriage.
• Profile information provided by members is accurate (we rely on members to self-report truthfully).

We strongly encourage you to independently verify any information provided by a prospective match before taking any significant step, including meeting in person.

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, 96K Matrimony shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.
• Any losses arising from interactions (online or offline) with other members.
• Any unauthorised access to your account due to your failure to keep credentials secure.
• Any content posted by members that is false, misleading, or harmful.

Our aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

• You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Deletion will remove your profile from public view within 24 hours.
• We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms, without refund of any paid subscription.
• Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature survive termination (disclaimers, limitations of liability, governing law) shall continue to apply.

• These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and in particular the laws of the State of Maharashtra.
• Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation.
• If negotiation fails within 30 days, the dispute shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996, with the seat of arbitration in Pune, Maharashtra.
• The courts of Pune, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction for any matter not resolved by arbitration.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before the new terms take effect. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
